Bexar County deputies are investigating human remains that were found on Thursday afternoon in the southeast part of the county. Sheriff Javier Salazar says a county trash crew found the remains wrapped in a tarp alongside W.W. White Road near Higdon Road. So far, investigators don't know the person's age or sex or the cause of death. The case is being investigated as a homicide.
