Republican Ronny Jackson is the winner in the race to represent Texas' 13th Congressional district in the House. Jackson was President Trump's former chief physician and onetime nominee for Veterans Affairs secretary. Jackson defeated Democratic nominee Gus Trujillo and Libertarian candidate Jack Westbrook. Representative Mac Thornberry vacated the seat when he announced his retirement earlier this year.
