Bexar County Sheriff Javier Salazar is reporting the discovery of a suspected chop shop in the southwest part of the county. Deputies acted on a social media tip to check out the site on Old Pearsall Road near Loop 1604. Auto theft investigators searched the property and found nine trucks, a trailer, and various parts that had been stolen from San Antonio, Bexar County, Seguin, and Live Oak. Nobody was arrested Tuesday, but deputies had previously arrested known gang members for car theft at the same location.
