The Senate Judiciary Committee is issuing subpoenas for the bosses of Facebook and Twitter to testify.
Chairman Lindsay Graham held the vote immediately after the confirmation vote for Supreme Court nominee Amy Coney Barrett. Because of that, none of the ten Democrats were in the chamber and they did not vote. Democrats were boycotting the vote to advance Barrett's nomination. Graham and his fellow Republicans want Mark Zuckerberg and Jack Dorsey to address alleged bias against their party by the social media giants.
