A man is in police custody after a standoff on the city's Northwest Side on Tuesday. San Antonio Police Chief William McManus says officers responded to a reported shooting at an apartment complex on Milsa Street near I-10. McManus says the man tossed furniture and other items from his balcony and fired random gunshots before surrendering to police a few hours later. Officers found a long gun inside the man's apartment. No one was injured.
