San Antonio Police shot a suspect during a domestic violence call this morning. Officers say the man pointed a gun at them as he answered the door.
It happened at about 4:30 a.m. at a home on Tropical Drive, near Eisenhauer Road.
According to initial reports, a child at the home called 911 and said the father was attacking the child's mother.
When police arrived, officers say a 38-year-old man inside the house opened the front door with a gun. Officers shot him once in the stomach. The suspect was taken to a hospital. His latest condition was unknown.
