Saturday night's Lotto Texas jackpot is $42.75 million. Texas Lottery officials say it's the biggest jackpot prize in North America, and the third-largest in the world. The biggest previous jackpot was a $97 million prize a Dallas resident won in 2010. An executive with the Texas Lottery reminds the public to play responsibly, which is to say, don't spend the mortgage payment on lottery tickets.
