President Trump is once again claiming that COVID-19 will eventually "disappear" even without a vaccine because of "herd mentality".
That was an apparent reference Tuesday night to "herd immunity" which means the virus will go away after a high percentage of people are infected.
"Herd mentality" means people are influenced by masses to act emotionally.
The nation's leading infectious disease expert Dr. Anthony Fauci has repeatedly said if the country attempts herd immunity, "the death toll would be enormous."
