Metro Health officials are reporting 49,915 cases of coronavirus in Bexar County. The latest total includes 142 new cases that were reported Sunday. Officials also reported one new death, plus 23 from a state backlog, bringing the county's death toll to a thousand-16. The number of coronavirus hospitalizations in the county continues to decline, and is now 246. More than 46,000 patients have recovered.
