Metro Health officials are reporting 47,956 cases of coronavirus in Bexar County since the pandemic began. The latest total includes 69 new cases that were reported Thursday. Officials also reported nine new deaths, bringing the county's death toll to 990. The number of coronavirus hospitalizations in the county continues to decline, and is now 284. More than 44,000 patients have recovered.
