Matt Olson smacked a two-run homer as the A's edged the Astros 3-1 in Oakland. Chad Pinder plated the other run for the A's, who took four-of-five in the series. Sean Manaea fired seven innings of one-run ball as he moved to 4-and-2. Liam Hendriks closed it out for his 12th save. Josh Reddick scored the lone run on a double play ball for Houston, which has dropped eight-of-nine. Jose Urquidy allowed two runs in six frames to take the loss.
