Metro Health officials are reporting 47,070 cases of coronavirus in Bexar since the pandemic began. The total includes 157 new cases that were reported on Thursday. Officials also reported 16 news deaths, bringing the county's death toll to 851. The number of coronavirus hospitalizations in the county continues to decline, and is now 344. More than 43,000 patients have recovered.
