Texas schools will soon be required to report all confirmed coronavirus cases daily to the state. State Education Commissioner Mike Morath announced the move on Thursday in a weekly call to school superintendents. School districts will report virus cases to the Texas Department of State Health Services in an effort to help families and school employees keep track of the pandemic in their neighborhoods. Morath said he will provide more details about the data collection process next week.
