Mayor Ron Nirenberg says 603 coronavirus patients are now hospitalized. That's down 9 from the previous day. There are 267 patients in ICU and 188 on ventilators.
Metro Health reported 70 new coronavirus cases on Monday night, bringing the total number of cases since the pandemic began to 44,122.
There were 19 new deaths reported, with the deaths being tied to cases that had been investigated from June 28 through August 16.
