San Antonio Mayor Ron Nirenberg says COVID-19 hospitalizations have now dropped below 700. As of Thursday, there were 694 patients hospitalized. 311 were in ICU with 213 on ventilators.
Metro Health officials are reporting 43,673 cases of coronavirus in Bexar County since the pandemic began. The total includes 218 new cases that were reported on Thursday. Officials also reported 15 new deaths, bringing the county's death toll to 560. The number of local coronavirus hospitalizations in the county continues to decline and is now below 700.
