TikTok is threatening legal action over President Trump's exectuive order to ban the Chinese social media app from doing business in the U.S.
TikTok said it's shocked by the move and claims it undermines the rule of law. Trump issued an executive order that would bar transactions with TikTok's China-based parent company starting in 45 days.
The order cites national security concerns and says the controversial app could allow Beijing to spy on Americans and collect personal information that could be used for blackmail.
