The school year in the Judson ISD will start nearly a week later than previously scheduled.
In a special meeting on Thursday, the district's Board of Trustees approved a new start date of August 24th, postponed from August 18th.
The later date is intended to give school staff and students more time to get ready for the school year and gather their supplies. All instruction will be online for the first several weeks.
