Presumptive Democratic presidential nominee Joe Biden says he will not stand in the way of prosecution against President Trump from the Justice Department if he is elected.
Biden told members of the National Associations of Black Journalists and Hispanic Journalists that it is not good for democracy to be talking about prosecuting former presidents.
The former Vice President said the Justice Department is not the president's private law firm and he would not have discretion to tell an Attorney General what or who should be investigated. Further, Biden said is not going to "go there" by saying Trump needs to be locked up, as some progressive Democrats have done.
