There are three presidential/vice presidential debates scheduled between September 29th and October 22nd, but several Democratic supporters of Joe Biden are begging the former VP not to debate Trump.
Former White House Press Secretary Joe Lockhart said Trump shouldn't be given a chance to tell "repeated lies" saying "Trump will take the truth and destroy it, and Biden will be in the position of correcting him over and over again. I don't think Biden should give Trump that platform."
Several published political columns have called for the debates to be completely canceled, saying they're outdated and merely for TV ratings.
Trump's camp has called for the opposite, urging the nonpartisan Commission on Presidential debates "to hold even more debates", according to MSN.
