For the first time since June 30, there are fewer than 1,000 COVID-19 patients hospitalized in San Antonio. Mayor Ron Nirenberg reported 965 patients were hospitalized as of today, which is down 42 from yesterday.
380 patients are in ICU and 250 are on ventilators.
Metro Health is reporting 1,323 new COVID-19 cases in Bexar County, bringing the total number of case since the pandemic began to 40,253.
There were 5 new deaths reported, bringing the death toll to 347.
