Georgia Governor Kemp Bans Cities, Counties from Mandating Face Masks

Governor Brian Kemp has banned cities and counties in Georgia from mandating that people wear masks in public.

The Republican governor is encouraging voluntary mask-wearing in Georgia, instead.

His orders have been criticized in the 15 local governments in Georgia that have ordered residents to wear masks in public.

Savannah Mayor Van Johnson has fired back at the governor's ban, saying "Governor Kemp does not give a damn about us", according to WJCL-TV.
