Metro Health officials are reporting 14,751 cases of coronavirus in Bexar County. The total includes 198 new cases that were reported on Sunday. Officials also reported eight new deaths, so the county's death toll is now 130. One of the latest deaths was a patient who was no more than 19-years-old, the youngest coronavirus death in Bexar County. More than 5,700 patients have recovered.
Currently there are 1,142 Bexar County residents in area hospitals. The county has 57% of our ventilators available at this time, however only 10% of local hospitals have beds available.
