The city is using a machine called the Motorscrubber to sanitize public areas in downtown San Antonio. The manufacturer says the Motorscrubber sprays a concentrated disinfectant that kills all viruses, including the coronavirus. The device is being used to clean elevators at the River Walk, crosswalk signal control buttons, handrails, trash can lids, business entrances, street furniture, parking meters, and scooters. The city plans to put a second Motorscrubber into use as of next Sunday.
