Dr. Anthony Fauci, the director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Disease supports the NBA's plan to restart the season.
22 teams would play 8 regular season games with everyone involved being tested for the virus and quarantined.
Fauci said, "I actually looked at the plan. Essentially testing everybody, make sure you start with a baseline of everybody being negative."
Under the restart, the NBA playoffs would extend into October.
