A woman called police this morning and reported she had just shot and killed her elderly parents before she attempted to take her own life.
It happened at a house on the city's northeast side.
San Antonio Police Chief William McManus said the woman called 911 at about 7 a.m. to let officers know she shot her parents at their home on Round Table Drive, located near Walzem Road and Midcrown Drive.
When police arrived they found the parents dead and the woman in critical condition.
The victims are said to be a 79-year-old woman and an 84-year-old man. The daughter was said to be in her 50s.
No names have been released.
