A company called Zebra Technologies has unveiled a new tech for warehouse workers - a social distancing alarm.
The company, which makes barcode scanners and other equipment, says the feature uses bluetooth technology to sound an alert whenever workers get too close. It can also keep track of worker interactions for easy contact tracing if someone becomes infected.
Warehouses have been searching for ways to keep workers at a safe distance while operating during the coronavirus pandemic. Zebra's devices can also be attached to lanyards or belts.
