Former President Bush, First Lady 'Anguished' By George Floyd's Death

Former President George W. Bush and his wife Laura are "anguished" by the death of George Floyd. In a statement, the 43rd president called Floyd's death a "brutal suffocation." Bush also asks the question of how the country gets rid of "systemic racism." The former commander-in-chief admitted there is "good reason" why many don't have faith in American justice. Bush said looting isn't the answer and he called for justice to come about peacefully. To make sure there's justice for all, Bush called for a "consistent, courageous, and creative effort."
