Local health officials say they will launch a new study of asymptomatic cases of COVID-19 in San Antonio. Health professionals from the UT Health San Antonio and the city of San Antonio Fire Department will join Metro Health as they randomly select more than five-hundred households across the city for the study. The study is meant to better understand how many people in the San Antonio community are infected with virus without knowing it.
