VIA Metropolitan Transit says it will resume charging its passengers for fares on Monday. The transit agency announced on Thursday that riders can buy passes or tickets online or at ticket windows, which reopened on Wednesday. VIA says only 16 passengers at a time will be allowed on a bus in order to enable social distancing. In addition, all drivers and passengers will be required to wear masks, and a regimen of cleaning and disinfecting will be in effect for buses, bus stops, and vans.
