NJ Will Allow Outdoor Graduation Ceremonies For HS Seniors Come July

New Jersey Governor Phil Murphy is allowing high schools to hold outdoor graduation ceremonies beginning July 6th, provided social-distancing guidelines are followed.

Murphy says it's important that seniors be celebrated for their accomplishments in the presence of friends of family. It's still not clear how many people will be allowed to attend, as officials remain concerned about controlling the size of gatherings.

The governor says health data will guide that decision, but he adds they want to give school districts as much advance notice as possible.
