A 4-year-old boy is dead after being shot inside a home on the city's southeast side. San Antonio Police Chief William McManus says the boy was inside a home in the 14-hundred block of Avant Avenue, while a barbecue was being held outside. The boy was playing with a 10-year-old inside the house when it appears the children found the gun and started playing with it when it went off.
