NYC Mayor Eyes First Or Second Week Of June To Start Reopening

Mayor Bill de Blasio is sounding even more confident that early June will be when New York City can start the reopening process.

The mayor says it looks clear right now the first or second week of June will be when New York City can enter phase one.

That includes the reopening of manufacturing, construction and retail curbside pickup.

He reiterates again the steady progress in recent weeks being made with coronavirus hospitalization and testing data.

New York City's non essential businesses have had their physical locations shut for a little over two months.
