Governor Greg Abbott is expected to announce plans to reopen more Texas businesses on Monday afternoon. Over the past two weeks, Abbott has allowed restaurants, retailers, movie theaters and hair salons to reopen in a reduced capacity. He had earlier said bars could reopen by the middle of this month, but then said he wanted to hear more input from experts on how and when they can be reopened safely. Texas House Speaker Dennis Bonnen says Abbott's reopening plans will work if Texans wear masks and observe social distancing.
