Metro Health reported an increase of 52 coronavirus cases in Bexar County on Saturday. Of those, 22 were from the community, 18 were from nursing home and long-term care facilities and 7 were from the jail.
There have now been 1,887 cases since the pandemic began, with 303 of those being jail inmates and 55 jail staff.
62 people are hospitalized. 32 of those patients are in ICU with 21 on ventilators.
