Metro Health reports 84 new cases in Bexar County and 54 of them are from the Bexar County Jail.
The outbreak at the jail has now lead to 239 inmates and 49 staff testing positive for COVID-19.
Officials reported another person has died from coronvirus. The death of a man in his 60s brings the death toll to 53.
60 people are hospitalized. 34 are in ICU and 21 on ventilators.
834 people in Bexar County have now fully recovered since the pandemic began.
