Metro Health says there were 39 new COVID-19 cases to report on Monday, with all but 5 of those coming from the Bexar County Jail. There were only 5 new cases from the community and there were no new deaths to report.
There have now been 1,652 cases since the pandemic began and more than 800 of them have recovered so far.
The number of those hospitalized has also gone down slightly, with 57 people hospitalized. 33 of those are in the ICU with 18 on ventilators.
