Over 880 coronavirus-related deaths are being reported in Texas. The State Health Services Department released the new numbers today noting more than 32,000 confirmed cases of the virus. Just over 16,000 are believed to have recovered while 1,500 are still hospitalized.
Officials say there have been more than 400,000 tests administered so far since the pandemic began.
The Houston-area has the most confirmed cases while North Texas is second.
