Officials say the percent of recovery cases continues to rise, with 47% of all cases in Bexar County now recovered since the pandemic began. So far, 756 people have recovered.
Mayor Ron Nirenberg says there were 28 new cases to report on Sunday. 13 of those were from the Bexar County jail and 15 from the community.
There have now been a total of 1,613 cases of COVID-19 in Bexar County.
No new deaths have been reported, keeping the total number of deaths reported to 48.
There are 59 people hospitalized. 34 people are in ICU.
