There have now been nearly 1,500 coronavirus cases in Bexar County since the pandemic began.
Metro Health says the county saw an increase of more than a hundred on Friday, due in most part to 91 additional cases at the Bexar County Jail.
San Antonio Mayor Ron Nirenberg says there have now been 1,477 COVID-19 cases.
In total, 157 inmates have now tested positive, with 10 making a full recovery.
