Eligible Bexar County residents can apply for temporary rental assistance starting today. The Housing Authority of Bexar County manages the Temporary Rental Assistance Measure. Residents of unincorporated Bexar County and 26 suburban towns outside San Antonio can get up to three-months of rental assistance. Applicants need to meet criteria that includes proof of unemployment or a significant loss of income due to the coronavirus pandemic, as well as certain income limits.
