San Marcos community members are remembering a police officer fallen in the line of duty. Yesterday, people lined the streets using social distancing while the body of Officer Justin Putnam was being transported from the Travis County Medical Examiner's office in Austin back to the Thomason Funeral Home in San Marcos. On Saturday, Officer Putnam was shot dead and two other officers were critically wounded in an ambush while responding to a domestic violence incident.
