Governor To Announce On Friday When Some Businesses Can Reopen

We'll find out on Friday when Governor Greg Abbott thinks the some businesses in the state can start reopening. The governor is expected to issue an executive order on Friday outlining how and when that will happen.

The state’s “essential services” order that was put into effect due to the COVID-19 pandemic, currently remains in effect until April 30th. Governor Abbott says he’s starting to shift his focus to “protecting lives while restoring livelihoods.”
