The Texas Craft Brewers Guild is petitioning Governor Greg Abbott to help the state's craft breweries during the pandemic. More than 360 breweries are closed down, suffering revenue losses and employee layoffs. The petition asks for Texas breweries to be temporarily allowed to deliver directly to customers, and to continue to make beer for drive-thru, take-out, and curbside pickup. It also seeks a temporary suspension of TABC excise tax payments.
