Metro Health reports there are now 503 confirmed coronavirus cases in Bexar County. Officials say there have now been 18 deaths tied to the virus.
Mayor Ron Nirenberg says 88 people are hospitalized, with 51 in ICU. 40 people are on a ventilator.
"These next few weeks will be difficult. As we test more people, we are seeing more confirmed cases of COVID-19. That's the reality," said Nirenberg.
