VIA Metropolitan Transit officials are advising the public about temporary service adjustments that start today. The transit service's routes move to Saturday schedules as of this morning, along with some reduced hours and routes. VIA says riders should observe the stay-at-home order during the coronavirus outbreak, and should make only essential trips such as getting to work, buying groceries or supplies, or looking after somebody. Riders are also asked to maintain social distance on board the bus as much as possible.
