Bexar County Sheriff's Office Announces Changes Over Coronavirus

The Bexar County Sheriff's Office is making changes due to coronavirus. Sheriff Javier Salazar says the safeguards include testing deputies whenever they enter facilities and asking them to conduct business at a safe distance. There also may be an alternate level of response to call for service although details were still being figured out. The jail may also release inmates accused of non-violent misdemeanors.
