Thousands of people are signing an online petition calling on South Padre Island to cancel all Spring Break events because of the coronavirus outbreak. More than 68-hundred people had signed the petition at change-dot-org as of Sunday afternoon. It's not clear if any or all those who signed the petition are Texas residents. The petition was started Friday with a goal to reach 75-hundred signatures. As of Sunday, all Spring Break concerts on South Padre Island were still scheduled to proceed as planned.
