Houston Calls On International Travelers To Self-Quarantine

Houston Mayor Sylvester Turner is calling on all international travelers to self-quarantine for 14 days after returning to Houston. Turner also recommends a seven-day self-quarantine for travelers arriving in town on domestic flights. Health officials say self-quarantining serves a double purpose. It strengthens efforts to contain the spread of the virus, and it keeps hospitals from being overwhelmed by large numbers of coronavirus patients showing up for treatment at the same time.
