Local Event Closures And Cancellations

The following events and activities are canceled:

  • Valero Texas Open: Canceled.
  • Fiesta: Delayed until November 5.
  • Oyster Bake: Will not occur in 2020. Plans to return in April 2021.
  • St. Patrick's Day Festival & Parade: The San Antonio River Walk Association is cancelling the dyeing of the river green and The St. Patrick’s Day Festival & Parade.
  • Six Flags Fiesta Texas: Temporarily suspended operations until the end of March.
  • The San Antonio Zoo: Closed until March 20.
  • Morgan's Wonderland: Will be closed to the public from Saturday, March 14, through Thursday, March 19.
  • Pearl: All Pearl programming is suspended until further notice. Weekend Farmers Markets are closed.
  • Craft Brewers Conference: Event scheduled April 19-22 has been canceled.
  • Tobin Center: Will reschedule all performances through April 25.
  • Majestic Theatre: The Aladdin Broadway Musical has postponed their performances from March 25 to April 12.
  • Witte Museum: Closed through March 20.
  • Local Libraries: Closed until March 22.
  • San Antonio Book Festival: Event to be held April 2-4 canceled. The Book Appetit Literary Feast will be postponed to November 30.

San Antonio's Fiesta is being delayed over the coronavirus.

San Antonio Archdiocese cancels services over coronavirus concerns

The Archdiocese of San Antonio announced Friday that church services have been suspended through the end of the month.
