A man is dead after being shot on the far west side last night. Bexar County Sheriff's deputies say it happened at about 9 p.m. on Sangria and La Santa Road in the Alamo Ranch subdivision.
The victim died at the scene. Deputies detained a man for questioning in connection to the murder. Specific details have not been released. Deputies are continuing to investigate the circumstances leading to the shooting.
